(I just realized I hadn't done a post for Christian's b'ball so here it is.)
Christian tried out for the Middle School basketball team in October. We let him give it a try, although honestly we didn't think he'd make it. He did make it - one of 3 6th graders added to the team. We were proud of him, but whew, it made our winter "off season" much busier.
It's so hard to get pictures inside of a gym and these first pictures aren't great because they were taken with my camera.... I didn't want to embarrass him with my big camera at his first games!
Overall, he enjoyed it. He got to dress out with the Varsity team a couple of times, which were definitely the high light of his season. He was so funny - after the first time, he said, "Mom, it was SO cool to run through the cheerleader tunnel and everyone yelling for us!" :-)
Anyway, these aren't the greatest pictures but you can get the idea....
