This past weekend, we were supposed to have friends from East Tennessee come and visit. Chip & Christina Scarce and their 5 kids were going to come and hang out with us, but unfortunately, they couldn't make it due to sick kids. We were disappointed and hope that we can figure out some way to get together with them one of these days.
On Monday evening, there was a Pastor's Conference in Hendersonville and Indian Springs Baptist Church's choir from Kingsport, TN was here to sing at the conference (which is why the Scarce family was going to come out early to visit us). Todd & Annetta Kirk are also in the choir and were able to come out a day early to visit us.
They arrived on Sunday evening with Leah, who is 3 months older than Julianna and stayed with us on Sunday and Monday night. We had such a nice visit with them and Julianna and Leah got along very well. The big kids didn't get to see them very much since they had to go to school and when they got home on Monday, Todd & Annetta headed out to go to the conference and we got to babysit Leah. We really had a nice visit and were so glad they came out a little early to see us.
