We boarded the Carnival Elation Ship on Saturday afternoon. We were a bit overwhelmed with it all but just went along. It was a nice ship but it was somewhat confusing to get around. Matthew is really good with directions and he still would get confused. I just stayed confused the whole time!!!
We pulled out of New Orleans on Saturday afternoon and it took hours (like 8!!) to weave our way out of the boot shape of Louisiana and into the big water. Then we stayed at sea on Sunday so we had a good day and a half on the ship.
We enjoyed exploring and attending some informational meetings on shopping in Cozumel, etc. And we spent a little time out in the sun. Here are a few pictures of us on the ship.
We did not have internet access on the ship so I had to turn over my phone to Matthew. It was harder than I thought! |
On top of the ship still docked in New Orleans |
