It's hard to believe that Rebecca is in her final year at the Middle School. Man, time has gone by fast. So we were a little sad to realize this was her final year of volleyball there, too. The coach that she had her first two years resigned as coach at the end of last year, so she had a new one this year. Coach Tori was very different from Coach Clark so we weren't sure what to expect, but Rebecca enjoyed her and playing for her.
Rebecca was selected as one of the two captains for the Varsity team. We were very proud of her and that accomplishment, being voted on by her teammates.
Here are some pictures of her from the season. (Remember first of all that it's so hard to get good pictures in a gym and second of all, that I'm a score keeper during the season so I depend on others to get pictures for me!)

You may remember that as a 6th grader, she was the only one allowed to serve underhand because she was so small and had no strength. As a 7th grader, she was required to serve overhand...and struggled. Well, as an 8th grader - she got it!! She had such a beautiful overhand serve and we were so proud of her for working hard on it!! |

She's the setter so she's "hiding" behind Hannah Grace, the spiker/blocker (okay - whatever...the tall one) |

She even "hit" the ball a few times - she's come a long way - so proud! |
