After trying the Kool-aid hair dying on Rebecca's birthday trip, we did it again at home. First we tried the blue on Julianna - it did well at first but then faded very quickly. We also just did the underside of her hair.
Then we decided to have a little fun and did the tips in the colors of the rainbow. It turned out sooo good and she loved it. We got lots of comments on it. Due to the school rule of having no unnatural hair colors in your hair, we waited until school started and had a good hair trim to get it all out.
Rebecca found a red that looked great in her hair and did the underside also. She said that red is a "natural" hair color and she wouldn't get in trouble at school. It worked great and looked great, but let me add this hers has not been temporary - it's still red (and I'm many months behind on the blog). So next summer, we will do it again but I think we will all go with tips only!! Here are some pictures:
