Our newest little fish!

I previously posted a video of Julianna learning to swim at the lake. She was not always happy about having to swim without her floaties on, however by the end of the week, she certainly could. She still did not like getting her face wet and never once purposefully went under water, but we knew at least she could swim.

After we returned home from vacation, we went over to some friend's house to swim in their pool. She was excited about getting in the shallow end without her floaties and swimming. She could reach the bottom and walked around. All of the sudden (and out of the corner of my eye), I saw her go underwater...voluntarily. I quickly checked on her and she was fine and smiling from ear to ear. I asked her to do it again and she did!!! The next thing you know, she was putting her face in the water and swimming all over the place.

THEN.....we asked her to jump off the side of the pool.....and she did!!! We were just beside ourselves being so proud of her. So here is the video that was taken a few minutes after all of this...

(And BTW, I'm finding that videos taken on Matthew's phone are wide screen so the right hand part of the video is slightly cut off, but hopefully you'll get to see it all).
